Remark for My order was not delivered after payment was made to the supplier

Since May , 2013,we have been communicating via email with BESTA International Chemicals Co., Ltd in regards to silver nitrate 99.8%.
Honestly on Wed, Jul 31, 2013 at 3:10 PM we sent $300 as sample cost for 1kg of silver nitrate 99.8%.
Till today,we are writing to them they don't respond!!! we are worried.Could this be scam?? Please advise.
Am to be fired from our company if this money is scammed!!! Please help me my friend.
I have all email communications with BESTA International Chemicals Co., Ltd plus the TT copy for the $300 we sent on Wed, Jul 31, 2013 at 3:10 PM.Please help me out OR ELSE am loosing my Job.
In Africa life is hard without Job.Please help me.
